Job Opportunity: we are seeking for a talented and motivated individual to join our expanding production team, and support our Composites manufacturing (CFRP, Aluminium) activities of Satellite, Spacecraft and Aircraft structures, for the latest Space missions of the European Space Agency and next-generation Aircrafts manufacturing programs.
Position scope: Manufacturing of advanced Composites structures
Position typical description: You will receive training (monitored) in qualified composites production processes. After completion of your training period, in a typical working environment you will be a member of the production team (under the supervision of the manufacturing leader), responsible for tasks such as:
- Interpretation of manufacturing drawings that are issued for production
- Processing (i.e. cutting, handling, etc.) of composites production materials: prepregs, fabrics, consumables, compounds etc.
- Handling and Preparation of production tools and parts
- Lamination and Assembly of composites structures (panels, sheets)
- CNC machining
- Inspection of produced parts
- Monitoring production parameters and registering those parameters into respective documentation
- Ensuring cleanliness and safety of production environment
- Problem identification and raising non-conformances to technical requirements during production and visual inspection
Position candidate requirements:
- Degree on either of the following areas: Aerospace Science and Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Materials Engineering or Science, Naval Architecture and Engineering
- Communication & Other Skills: Team spirit, Proactive thinking, ability to work in a result-orientated team, good command of English, good writing & presentation skills
Additional skills or knowledge of either of the following will be considered as an advantage
(but not mandatory for this position):
- Composites manufacturing processes and materials (resins, polymers, fibers)
- CAD/CAM
- CNC machining
