Job Opportunity: we are seeking for a talented individual to join our expanding production team, and support our Composites manufacturing (CFRP, Alu) activities of Satellite, Spacecraft and Aircraft structures, for the latest Space missions of the European Space Agency and next-generation Aircrafts manufacturing programs.
Position scope: Manufacturing of advanced Composites structures
Position typical description: You will receive training (monitored) in qualified composites production processes. After completion of your training period, in a typical working environment you will be a member of the production team (under the supervision of the manufacturing leader), responsible for tasks such as:
- Interpretation of manufacturing drawings that are issued for production
- Processing (i.e. cutting, handling, etc.) of composites production materials: prepregs, fabrics, consumables, compounds etc.
- Handling of Metallic tools and parts, Preparation of tools and parts
- Lamination and Assembly of composites structures (panels, sheets)
- Monitoring and Logging (filling-out) of Production parameters in predefined Product Assurance (PA) documentation
- Ensuring Cleanliness and Safety of production environment
- Problem identification, Raising non-conformances to technical requirements during production and visual inspection
Position candidate requirements:
- Technical Degree on either of the following areas: Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering, Materials Engineering or Science, Naval Architecture and Engineering
- Communication & Other Skills: Team spirit, Proactive thinking, ability to work in a result-orientated team, good command of English, good writing & presentation skills.
Additional skills or knowledge of either of the following will be considered as an advantage
(but not mandatory for this position):
- Composites manufacturing processes and materials (resins, polymers, fibers)
- CAD/CAM
- CNC machining
